Sacraments and Funerals
Celebrating the sacraments is at the core of our parish life. From a baby’s baptism to our loved one’s funeral, all our big moments in life are marked in a solemn, joyful and dignified way.
Here we provide all the details for the celebration of the sacraments in our parish.
To arrange a funeral ceremony please contact the Parish Office or one of the priests.
Baptisms are celebrated in the Cathedral on the first and third Sundays of every month, following the 12.30p.m. Mass.
Parents are required to meet with a member of the Baptism Team prior to the Baptism of their child. It is very important that parents attend this meeting as it will help to inform parents about the sacrament and give them an opportunity to ask questions.
Weddings in the Cathedral should be booked through the Cathedral Parish Centre. A minimum of three months notice should be given.
